Our SGA is a dynamic student-led organization dedicated to representing the interests and voices of all students at our school. We aim to foster a sense of community, leadership, and responsibility among our peers.
MissionThe mission of the William Winans Middle School SGA is to:
1. Serve as the voice of the student body in school decision-making processes.
2. Promote school spirit and pride through various events and initiatives.
3. Encourage active participation in school activities and community service.
4. Develop leadership skills and provide opportunities for personal growth.
Activities and Responsibilities- **Student Representation**: The SGA ensures that student concerns and ideas are heard by the school administration.
- **Event Planning**: Organizing school events, such as dances, spirit weeks, and charity drives.
- **Community Service**: Leading initiatives to give back to our local community through volunteer work and fundraising.
- **Leadership Development**: Offering leadership training and opportunities for students to take on meaningful roles within the school.
How to Get Involved:Students interested in joining the SGA can participate in elections held at the beginning of each school year. All students are encouraged to run for office or join as general members to help make a positive impact on our school community.
